A Midsummer's Dream
19-22 June 2026

Experience a 4-day journey inspired by the spirit of Midsummer, a unique celebration in Northern Europe where season, landscapes,  and tradition come together. Long celebrated across Scandinavia and the Baltic regions, Midsummer marks the height of summer — a time of gathering, storytelling, music, and shared rituals rooted in cherishing nature and changing seasons.

During these special days, castles and estates across Mecklenburg open their doors, welcoming visitors to share their histories in an atmosphere that feels both celebratory and personal. Heritage is not only observed, but experienced.

Our guests stay at a carefully selected estate hotel set within Mecklenburg’s celebrated Lake District, surrounded by water, forests, and open skies. The program includes visits to historic castles and estates, among them Schloss Mirow, the birthplace of Queen Charlotte, offering a meaningful connection to the region’s past.

Midsummer itself unfolds outdoors, in the way it has been enjoyed for generations. Flowers are worn in the hair, white attire creates a shared visual language, and long tables are laid in nature for a communal dinner. As evening settles in, a fire is lit, music drifts through the air, and dancing carries the celebration into the long northern light.

Children are welcome, and the weekend is designed to be shared across generations — relaxed, joyful, and quietly memorable.

Further details, hosting context, and experience flow are shared privately with registered guests in March.
