Burg Stargard Medieval Festival
06-09 August 2026

Carefully designed, this four-day experience offers a rare opportunity to step back in time and come as close as possible to the rhythms of medieval life. Set within Burg Stargard, one of the oldest castles in Mecklenburg region and among the oldest in Northern Germany, this journey unfolds within walls that have been thoughtfully preserved since the 13th century.

Throughout the festival, the castle grounds come alive with equestrian encounters, battle reenactments, and the sounds of medieval music, dance, and celebration. Traditional food and drinks of the period, artisanal products from local producers, are shared in an atmosphere that feels lively, authentic, and welcoming.

History, performance, and communal celebration blend naturally, creating a day that lingers long after it ends. Time spent at Burg Stargard feels less like watching history and more like briefly living within it — an experience that often becomes one of the most memorable moments of the summer.

Further details, hosting context, and experience flow are shared privately with registered guests in March.
